Ethiopia Limmu Kossa

From the Pacific Northwest’s Original Craft Coffee Roaster

Think: Tangerine, Lemon Thyme, Jasmine

Limmu Kossa Estate is a family-owned coffee farm located in the South West highlands of Ethiopia. Limmu Kossa is the biggest privately owned coffee farm in Jimma Zone of the Oromia Regional state of Ethiopia. Limmu Kossa was established in the year 2000, and currently produces coffee on 356 hectares across two farms, employing around 700 people during harvest. The farm employs an exemplary agroforestry system making use of the shade of original, indigenous forest species. The shade provided by the forest helps the cherries to develop more gradually, lending more sweetness and fruity flavors to the coffee.
